In today's rule changes (02/16/2012), the new female Striker, Megabeth, has been added for 360 uber points or 6750 combat coins (same price as Karl).

POSITION: STRIKER
PRIMARY WEAPON: ROCKET MA'AM
Primary Fire: Fires a rocket that travels in a straight line. Direct hits will cause knockback. Damaging herself will push her upwards for a possible rocket jump.
Alternate Fire: Points a laser that all rockets in flight will track to the target location. 25% of the recharge is consumed when a rocket explodes. Can only be used when it is fully charged.
SECONDARY WEAPON: BEARING HATES
Primary Fire: Fires a small ball bearing that ricochets once.
Alternate Fire: Grapple throw
ACTIVE SKILL: DERBY DISKU
Megabeth tosses out a disk that damages, slows Pros, and stuns bots and turrets. Disk will bounce off of targets.
Upgrading Derby Disku decreases the cooldown and increases the damage.
ACTIVE SKILL: WHIRLING DERBISH
Megabeth spins around in circles doing damage and pushing back enemies.
Upgrading Whirling Derbish increases damage and decreases the cooldown.
ACTIVE SKILL: SHOOT THE MOON
Megabeth uses her rocket skates to damage the area behind her, jump forward, and gain a short burst of speed.
Upgrading Shoot The Moon decreases the cooldown and increases the damage.

Anyone purchased her yet? Seems like an awesome addition.

A lot of people are calling her OP, but I don't see it. She seems alright- I'm not good with her at ALL (despite being able to do really well with most Pros, except for Gunner/Support). I need to see her in the hands of some really good players before I'll be able to judge for myself whether or not she needs changes.

Will wait for her to be free to test, especially since I love strikers.

She doesn't seem OP to me having played with several others playing as her, but then again this game is getting rebalanced all the time.

I really hope they retcon MNC's class names (Support, Tank, Gunner, etc.). All the new pros are just so ridiculous and equally ridiculously named...

all i saw was people flipping out about the one throwaway line about my little pony in her bio o_O

karl took me a while to get used to, he just felt really weak at first, so i'd probably be terrible with beth too haha.

i'm not super good or anything i just play to have a good time, mostly try to pick assassin or combat girl. i'm like terrible as tank for some reason, even though that's who most people recommend to new players.

I played against her yesterday, she didnt seem to OP at all but i know very little about the balance of such a game.

It's pretty clear they are going to nerf her somehow, she's really amazing at killing bots. Switched her to my main pro.

They are still balancing stuff, and with beth being free this week they will have plenty of data to rebalance even more.

she got super nerfed patch 25, and i personaly think that a change, not a nerf, is in order.
