This iteration of the franchise introduces support for the Wii Balance Board as a controller.
The Super Monkey Ball franchise began on the Gamecube and has has since been expanded to many other platforms. Gameplay involves tilting the mazes to navigate the monkey to the goal, using the joystick or motion controls.Introduced by a teaser trailer on July 21, 2009, Step & Roll will feature similar gameplay controlled by the player shifting his or her weight over the Wii Balance Board to tilt the mazes.
