Whittled down to its base experience Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii is a Nintendo fan's dream game. It takes both popular and obscure characters from Nintendo's huge library and pits them against each other in a simple to control fighting game that is designed for amazingly fun multiplayer.

Brawl is so extremely chuck full of things to do that it offers enough game to keep some players playing for months, even years!

Do you like inviting over friends for a night of competitive gaming? Brawl features multiplayer for almost every mode in the game, and the action is balanced so that even players having an off night have a good chance of winning a round or two.

Do you prefer to play alone? Brawl's Subspace Emissary mode features simple platform jumping similar to, but not quite up to the standards of the Super Mario games. With richly detailed cut scenes pushing the story of this mode, Subspace Emissary is a ten hour experience that alone is worth the price of the game.

Do you prefer to be creative? Brawl features a level editor that lets you create new levels for the game that can then be shared with the world by posting them online.

Even if you do not have the ability to get three friends together for a night of gaming, with Brawl's online play you can play against anyone around the world. Nintendo's relative weakness in the online arena does prevent such needed things as voice chat and the ability to easily navigate the online experience. Still, you have to crawl before you can walk, and the fact that Nintendo is finally moving their games online is a great step forward.

Brawl is not a true evolution from the last Smash Brothers game, but it is full of improvements and additions that make it a must buy for any Wii owner.

THE QUICK AND DIRTY : Who does not like Kart Racing? Mario Kart is a great bit like Super Smash Brothers, except in this game you kick butt with go karts instead of feet. Playing this game online is probably my most anticipated moment of the year.

    Wii Fit with Balance Board

    PLATFORM (Wii)

    PUBLISHER (Nintendo)

    PRICE $90

    ESRB RATING (E for Everyone)

THE QUICK AND DIRTY : The fact that this is a fitness game should not scare off anyone. While there are calisthenics and other exercises, there are also fun games like snowboarding and balance games. The fact that the Balance Board included in this game already has a few other compatible games announced for it means that this pricey purchase is good for more than just one game.

Best in series?, yes but expected a bit more 0

Apart from all the things already said by many of the reviewers out, this game just rocks.Nintendo threw in some new characters, yes Snake is in the game as well as Sonic but I hoped more new characters were introduced not in the form of clones that is. Not satisfied by the roster Nintendo launched with the game different modes, Master Pieces being one of them. In the master piece part of the game it will let you try out a few of the games available from Nintendo via the shop, although the maste...

Brawl really leaves nothing unfinished, almost no feature omitted 0

I've been playing video games for almost as long as I can remember. As of this review, I've beaten 572 and played many more. Perhaps one of my favorite games so far is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. OK, it's only in the top 3, but that's still quite a statement. But why do I love this game so much? Brawl attempts something different when it comes to fighters. Rather than depleting your sole opponent's life bar with arcane button and joystick sequences which fire fireballs from your hands , you bash yo...
