The correlation between the title of "Super SMASH Bros." and the actual gestures made on the controllers being used (SMASHING buttons) definitely seems to explain this franchise rather well.
I think all of them are great in their own way. My experience with Melee has been incredibly minimal, but I've put at least 100 hours into both SSB and Brawl, and I cherish them both. Playing SSB with my family for the first time was unforgettable.

Most people like Melee more because they spent more time with it than other Smash Bros. games.
LOL when i first saw that i was like 10 and it was all OH MY GOD CAPTAIN FLACON IS BEATING UP MARIO LAWL. i love the beat them to a pulp until you blast them out of the arena style of it. and the first one had the best graphics
