The Giant Haduken Turbo HD Remix Tournament: It's on!

------- The Giant Haduken Turbo HD Remix Tournament has begun -------

The first fight will be a "filter" fight that will make sure that everyone at least play two different games and will face an opponent of about the same skill in their second fight.

Xbox 360 Ladder

Losers of the first fight will fill up one of the open slots (Slot A, B, C, D and E), the contestant who will fill up Slot A will have to beat Rowr either with 2 rounds won in the first fight or win against him twice.

(I've got some slight technical difficulties with Paint Shop Pro so it might take me a day or two to update the grids, match data will be up to date however)

PS3 ladder

Group Battle rounds:
The two contestants with the most wins or who finished his winning fight the fastest proceed to the finals.

Rules

Yeah sorry about that it was the only way i could make the others play at least twice, i did give you a favorable handicap for your fight to compensate for it.

Quite a head ache to make up the PS3 grid... Will be done soon i hope.

PS3 grid is up, as soon as i am done filling in the match data for the PS3 i'll start of sending PM in pairs with the match data to the contestants.

edit:Just send the match info to all the 360 users, will start sending the match info to the PS3 crowd soon.

edit: All the contestants are now informed with the match data.

Yeah i am afraid so, the sign up period ended 5H ago. I build the grid around the number of people who signed up.

I just retried the demo and I hate it...though I think my Hori stick is busted because it was really unresponsive. If I did sign up for this tourny I would have gotten my ass handed to me.

I'm sorry the tournament grids are build around the number of contestant, i can't add new people in without breaking it completely down. If after this tournament there is demand for another one there will be a next tournament.

I have no idea if the demo was rubbish as far as the controls go...I haven't bought the full game and I don't plan to after playing the demo once again.

Best is to reply in the PM with the match data send you guys that way it shows up in my PM message box and i dont have to refresh this thread to check if there are updates, i would not have noticed this if it was not on the front page.

Anyway thanks for the update guys either way, i'll update the grid as soon as i wake up (its for o clock in the morning here and for some reason i am awake...).

So Agentlost fills up Slot B, next match will be against the loser of the fight between thabigred and br3dfan
Jon your next fight will up against the winner of that fight.

I'll send you guys a PM with match data as soon as i get those results in.

Me vs Meltbrain, Meltbrain won! It was a close fight and we had some good matches afterwards, too. I knew I should've picked Cammy instead of Sagat.... :p

Thanks for the update.
Wallace you are are now in slot E, your next match will be against the loser of the fight between purerok and legioXIII. Masuta your next match will be against the winner of that fight.

On a side note: the dead line for the first rounds is in three days, please hurry up your matches everyone.
