I know it's all rumour at this point, but if Cody or Guy were to be included in Super SFIV would anyone be hyped about it?
I never liked them in Alpha 3, and they always felt like bonus characters that didn't really belong in the game. Like Yoda and Darth Vader in Soul Caliber. I would much rather see pretty much anyone else from the 3rd strike series fill Cody and Guy's spots if it is true they will be in the game.
So how about the people of GiantBomb, anyone have an adoring love for these two final fighters?

I completely disagree with that. Not only does Yoda, Darth Vader and The Apprentice add nothing to the game; they are completely out of place with the rest of the cast, the story of SC IV and the time that the game takes place in. Not to mention that they're absolutely broken compared to the other characters. If Guy and Cody are in the game, at least they'll fit in with the rest of the characters and the Street Fighter team won't be so negligent to make them totally unbalanced. The only problem I've got with that is that Guy looks somewhat generic.

That's all i'm saying, is that I think other fighters should have there due before them. But I guess there was enough fan outcry if they actually will be in the game, which is cool.
I think it would be fine to have them in there. Sure, there's other characters I'd rather see, but most of them didn't show up until 3, so since this game comes before that I guess I can't complain.

It does not, but at least the characters fit in with the rest. Star Wars has nothing to do with Soul Calibur and it features characters who live in a futuristic setting wielding these technologically advanced weapons known as lightsabers who fight against characters who are in a time where cars don't exist and fight with normal weapons.

I disagree. I'm not much of a fan of Cody's style in Alpha 3, but Guy was part of the Alpha series since the first game.
As a player of Guile, I'm EXTREMELY interested in guy and cody, don't think their playing style is any similar, just think those guys would hang out with each other.
Honestly, if they were to put in any Final Fight characters, I would have preferred Poison, if for no other reason than the fact that she was supposed to be a playable character in Capcom Fighting All-Stars before it was canned so many years ago.
