    Daigo, Mago, Tokido, and some of Japan's top players created some SSFIV:AE tier lists together for Arcadia Magazine in Japan.  Here are the lists provided by EventHubs.

    I must admit I'm surprised by Fei being ranked at the top by all 3 of them, but hey, what do I know. Chun seems to be the right spot in Mago's list but the others have her too low surely? 
     
    Tokido thinks a lot of Makoto now too. Hopefully he's right, fun character just too hard to win with.

    Looks interesting, although as Mubress pointed out, it seems a bit odd to see Fei as the only top rank, and from all 3 no less. 
    Liking that Makoto is higher. Always wanted to try her out.

    The biggest surprise for me is where they placed Rose.  Makes me laugh that Dan is ahead of a few characters.  Dan for life.

    I'm thinking because of that nerf.  She got a few other changes, but I don't remember any of them.

    I always wanted to try C. Viper, maybe I will give it a go soon. I haven't really managed to find a main yet. I've been playing since SF4 came out and its mostly been Sakura, then I tried Makoto and unfortunately I just can't seem to use her well. Its too bad too because I love her crotch punch ultra.

    I believe C tier is alphabetically ordered, because we obviously know Seth is not worse than Dan despite nerfs.

    Fei Long as S tier? What the hell are they thinking? He is already a very good character in SSF4 for those that know what they are doing. 
     
    And it cracks me up how far Guile has fallen. What will the down-back champions do now?

    Wow, AE has been out for like a month and a half and we have tier lists already. But people will eat it up because its Daigo, Mago, and Tokido.

    Yang does look pretty badass. His style is so fucking cool. Don't like the look of Yun as much.
     
    Fucking great to hear that Ken has moved up considerably, though. Gonna be rocking him so much when my net is back up and running.

    They removed her Super Trap, Decreased Fireball Meter Gain and removed the invincibilty on U2 (but it starts up faster for more combos). 
      
    The easy meter gain and the escape ultra made her a decent character, seems like the people in Japan (and Gootecks and Sabin in the US) think she's trash now.  
     
    Even though I don't care about SSF4 much anymore, I'm still extremely salty about the lack of buffs to anything. I really expected to see something like a decent focus attack or an easier way to combo U1, like juggling out of a reflect into it.

    @GetEveryone: Ken looks more and more viable defo plus he's a shit ton of fun to play with! Agree with you on Yang but I don't understand the dislike for Yun?

    @mubress: Just having that quicker sweep, and slightly better st.lp and cr.mp is so awesome. I keep hearing that he's got a faster walking speed, too. Man, I'm crazy excited to try out AE. 
     
    Ken, Oni and Makoto: GDLK

    No dislike for Yun, though. I just prefer Yang's design/specials. Those up-kicks Yun has look pretty ugly in a combo, dawg.
