The AE edition changes thread

#1 Edited by gosukiller (2324 posts) - 2 years, 5 months ago

Wanted to create a thread to discuss all the new AE changes coming out of Japanese Arcades.

The first one: Rose Ultra 2. IPW.com just had a post with this video in it:

Pay close attention to 2:16 and 5:08.
While she keeps her Orbs at 2:16, she loses them at 5:08. I'm still a bit confused about it's exact new properties, but it looks like her U2 is still as viable as it can be.

Discuss away!

(Wish I could fix my topic title typo... sigh.)

@gosukiller: I thought the only difference was that it's a couple of frames slower to start-up.

@GetEveryone: She seems to have lost invince frames in favor of the ultra staying after a meaty hit. Rumors are that the start-up is 1 frame faster allowing for more combos.

I'm still convinced that Rose has got the short end of the Arcade Edtion stick.

I've seen so much Yun play and very little Yang. I am disapoint.

@Killroycantkill:  Yeah.  But hey Yang's history has been tainted since the first SF3.  Palette swap for Yun.  Poor Kid.

Baseball hat + ponytail?  No fashion sense.
