Ridiculously sporadic and uncofirmed rumours?
 
Things like
"Dudley is searching for a rose in SSFIV, similar to 3rd Strike where he was searching for his vintage automobiles."
 
I mean he's not even been confirmed as a character, why are people guessing his motives?
 
A line needs to be drawn somewhere.

All the stuff your complaining about is under the god damn RUMOR section. Get over it there rumors and labeled as such. If that stuff was being presented as fact you would have a case but as it stands that stuff is fine. If its later proven otherwise go ahead and change it.

Rumours as dictated by whom though?  That's like me saying "I am now going to make a Strider 360 page because I heard a rumor on a message board"  At some point the line needs to be drawn I guess. And you don't need to be so hostile, I'm not trying to rattle any cages here. "

Well, considering pretty much all of the rumors have been true so far, I wouldn't say having a rumor section on the wiki was unwarranted.

This is all in the realm of possibility about Devs/Producers editing their own wiki stuffs.  I know for a fact that there are 4 people connected from Capcom to Giant Bomb, in some way, who's profiles exist on this site; that I know about. 
 
I met 3 Capcom "higher-up's" at Giant Bomb's 1 Year Annaversary Party alone, and even played some SFIV, Spybots, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 with other employees of Capcom (mostly Tester/QA guys). 
 
I'm not saying much else than that, and take from it what you will, but best believe... Giant Bomb and Capcom are pretty tight. 

I love the unrestrained rumor machine associated with this game. Like last night I read that Skullomania is gonna be in the game. That's messed up.

idk where you heard that, but pretty  much everything that was a "rumor" has since then been confirmed true. Somewhere there was a leak. "
