So I'm sure we've all dealt with this guy. Not only is he that good that he needs to remind you of it but sooo good in fact that he doesn't need to win.. That's right does not seem the need to win. The next couple of days I'm going to be quoting some of the most absurd statements that people who are getting beat, say while it's happening. I started blocking those people but figured this is more fitting. I should have taken their names down but I will from now on.. So here's my short list so far, but will add on as time progresses. Also this is for anyone else who play these amazing players that they have superseded the very idea of a victory. I'm curious to see what other people have encounted as well.. Here are some classics:
"Dude you suck, if it wasn't for my stupid mistakes I would have won"
"You're winning but your Cody is not impressing me" after 2 straight 10 hit combos into a dizzy.
"Dude look at him, he sucks so bad he isn't even RKing me as an anti-air, he's just back strong-ing me."
Please share yours, and add the PSN or XBL name as well, these are people to avoid.. At least I think so..

You're winning but still suck!
Most of the time people start out talking shit, but as I start to win they stop talking. One time tho after I beat somebody they sent me a mesage saying they could kick my ass in Halo.
People only talk shit to me before the match starts, stuff like "Oh, you picked Dan? I'm gonna kick your ass" , etc. They tend to shut up once I grind their mistaken confidence into a fine paste.
Im an Abel player and beatdown a viper, in which i thought was a great fight. After i got a message and was sure it would be a gg. Instead the dude was bitching about me having to resort to throwing, and that i was not a real fighter because i relied on throwing........i main a grappler.......my ears bled........
You don't need to have a mic for another guy to either say it on his or msg you.. lol it's silly how people react.
i take it all this is on 360?
Cus the only thing ive gotten is from being on 360.
"Stop doing arrow, you cheap fag!"
... so says the lariat spamming zangief.
Kept falling for my hooligans too.
I was in a bad mood, picked Seth and just used sonic booms, because I'm a dick. I (surprisingly) won the match and got a message saying:
"I would have won if you hadn't just spammed that move, fag"
Oh, so you mean if I'd just stood still doing nothing :/
I have also received some nice messages though, even a few people asking to be friends :3
Aha I think im that guy. When I attack alot, then try and mix it up with a throw and overestimate them, eating an ultra, or when I mess up a long combo leaving me open. I just feel like I was the better player, and yeah, they might be winning but they still suck! =p
But I will wait in line in the lobby, watching him lucky out or get destroyed, so when I face him again, I can just play safe and win =D
Never got a bad message. Normally cause i lose but that's beside the point.
I did get one complimentary message which i thought was cool. I've sent a few like that when i've lost but thought it was a good fight.
I've only sent one negative message when someone rage quit on me. Basically said "nice rage quit bitch" to which he responded "likewise"
..what does that even mean?
" @Th3_James said:I faced a dude who did nothing but the vortex...pissed me off to no end, until I figured out how to block it." I never use a mic, therefore I do not experience this sort of shit "This. People don't like Ibuki's vortex. "
Usually I can't hear people's mic, so it doesn't bother me. However, some Rog player came through loud and clear as he mopped the floor with me. I wanted to kill him.
I remember some guy saying that he had to dumb himself down to beat me after I beat him with his old main.
"I would have beat you in Street Fighter IV...Super Street Fighter IV is different and...I'm done with this shit' *offline*
So I was playing a random tournament as Balrog (should I call him Boxer here, or what?) and I was opted into the quarters because of no-shows, and then fought a really god Chun who I don't think knew the matchup all too well, and was snuffing his cross-ups and ultras. I moved on and fought a mediocre Gouken. I'm not saying I'm amazing with Balrog, but this guy was whiffing his ultra and I just kept anti-air'ing him with the headbutt, and evading fireballs with the headbutt or tap, and when I won (after he ragequit for throwing his denjin randomly), he sent me a message telling me "All you do is hop in the air...UR such a pussy".
On the other end, I got into a rough match with a really good Cody and just barely won with I think Bison (Dictator) and he wasn't too pissy about it.
" I remember some guy saying that he had to dumb himself down to beat me after I beat him with his old main.@Pessh said:
"Sorry, Stacticfalconar :P
" @dbz1995: Don't mess with Saltyfalconar. "If you don't get salty every now and then, you ain't playing the game right.
" @dbz1995 said:Or you may be just highly optimistic not to get pissed when losing lol!" I remember some guy saying that he had to dumb himself down to beat me after I beat him with his old main.@Pessh said:

I think when you can't control your saltiness enough to not send hate messages, then you're not playing the game right lol
It has been ages since I played online, but I do remember a few occasions where my opponent's nerd-rage erupts like a volcano. It's somewhat hilarious hearing the other guy go bent out of shape all because of a game. On the other hand, I have had a few compliments along the way.
After beating a Cammy with my Juri in what was the closest match I've ever played I got a message being called a bitch. Funny part is, I was just about to send him a message saying thanks for the great match and include a friend request.
The only messages I get are people telling me they worship me, then after they play me they send "lol."
Someone once sent me a message saying "gg you are god player" which I found very amusing. I assume he meant to write 'good'.
On the other hand I got some hatemail. After winning a close match against a rather cocky Akuma player I recieved the message; sonofabitchnoob. (All one word.)
Some people take it all a bit too seriously.
i generally try to be pretty congenial about people who beat me? i'm not that good but i do okay (i main Fei Long so stuff tends to get... jumpy), and if i run into someone who beats me with some style or in a way where the match is interesting, i generally send them a "gg duder" message afterward. if the dude is being cheap or i dont feel like i should have lost i generally just leave the lobby and find someone else to play with, i dunno why that's so hard for some people to do.
I dealt with a real cheese tactic guy the other night. He was a Vega special move spammer, and it being my first time playing against Vega since the SFII family of games, I had no idea of move priority or any of that. The first round I did my best, but he beat me. Rounds 2 and 3 I beat him (with a CRAZY comeback in the 3rd round) and he went ballistic on the mic. My favorite statement was, "you only beat me because I missed with that super!". Ok, so did you miss or did I avoid it? Does it matter? You didn't land the super and I beat you.
I saved the replay, I'll have to record it with my camcorder and get it up online. Too bad you can't hear the chatter...
