Sword & Sworcery coming to Japan with East meet West soundtrack

8-4 will be doing the localization of Japanese version of Sword & Sworcery. I presume that this doesn't affect most of us, but they also orchestrated a soundtrack remix combining featuring artists such as Michiru Yamane (Castlevania SOTN) and Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill)

Will be available both on iTunes and Bandcamp on 21st of June.

Check out the following link for sample of the remixed track.

Uhhhh, had a sour taste in my mouth before I heard the music, now I think I might actually vomit. It's just so Japanese! And I liked the S&S Soundtrack. I bought the LP cassette combo!

Weird. I think lyric-less music above anything else is culture independent, so I don't see the point in 'localising' music, especially when it's as good as the originals Sword and Sworcery soundtrack.

Hmmmm. I'm not liking what I heard of the samples. The original S&S music is probably my favorite game music in the in the last few years and the Japanese revamping does not seem up to par.
