    Founded by Chris Wright, former TQH Director of Marketing for BlueTongue and THQ Studio Australia, the company started out as Surprise Attack Games in 2013.

    On July 25, 2018, Surprise Attack Games announced that it would rebrand and change its name to Fellow Traveller. They are an indie games publisher with a goal to support games with a strong narrative focus.
