So since I'm bored, I decided to check out how many Starbreeze developers stayed with them for Syndicate.

Total team was 160. So, 100 developers from other places. Most were from GRIN (Bionic Commando) and Avalanche Studios (Just Cause), both in Stockholm, Sweden. Some were from other EA games.
Syndicate had a different lead level designer (Thibault Courbet), does that explain the more linear structure?
Different game designers and directors.
All of the art team and level design team still stayed the same, though.
