    Syphon Filter Dark Mirror.

This game is hard to describe.
If I had to discribe it in one word it would be surprising.
When I got Dark Mirror, I was expecting a short, no storyed, broken PsP game that would keep me occupied for a few hours.
But when I started playing, I could not stop.
The gameplay was awesome. It was simple, and great fun. It is like Metal Gear solid for the PsP (even though Metal Gear Solid is on the PsP) for it was a cross between stealth and combat. You can choose if you want to eliminate a guard silently or just kill him straight up and make a fight. There are many diffrent weapons to choose from including knifes, silenced pistols, rifles, SMG's and many more good weapons.

The story in this game is good also. I will not reveal to much, but I shall give you a taste of the games wonderfull story. You start the game off in Alaska in a refinery. a group called Red Section has taken some highly valued reserch from the refinery and you are sent to stop them. While you do this you learn more about the plot and what Red Section is doing. This story takes you through Alaska, Peru, a UN assult etc. I love this story becuase it is so entising and interesting and is enhanced by the wonderful characters you meet.

The only problems I have with the game is the health. You can pick up kealth packs and that is my problem. You can be getting shot and about to die and all you need to do to stay alive is just click on heal and you make a quick recovery. I do not like it when games do this, but I still rate it a 5 becuase this does not affect gameplay.

I love the enemys in this game. They are smart, meaning they hide behind cover, double team you, outflank you and use a good variety of weapons that I love. They have many diffrent types of enemy in the game, some which are recruits who have bed accuracy to mercinaries and elite forces who have body armor etc. It is a good change to have smart enemy's and is one of the great parts that makes this game a great purchase.

But any amount of info that I give you will tell you better than playing the game yourself, so I reccomend this game to any who love MGS, stealth games, intense combat and a good story. I hope you enjoy the game like I have becuase it is one of those games that you will play over and over becuase it is so good.
Play this game, becuase you will not regret it.

Dark Mirror brings some much needed action to the PSP 0

When Metal Gear Solid was released in 1998, it spawned a whole series of knock offs. While some were cheap attempts to cash in on the popularity of MGS, only one was actually good. This title was Sony’s Syphon Filter. While more action oriented than MGS, Syphon Filter was able to set itself apart as a solid title. The game was praised by both fans and critics for its game play and Hollywood style action. A more stealth oriented sequel was released a year later to more praise. The third entry of ...
