Takeshi Abo is a Japanese video game composer who has worked for both KID (Infinity series, Off Memories series) and 5pb (Chaos;HEad, Steins;Gate).

Takeshi Abo joined KID (Kindle Imagine Develop) in 1990, primarily to compose music for visual novels. In 2006, after KID declared bankruptcy, Abo  joined 5pb, another visual novel developer. 
 
His inspirations for music come from the Japanese band YMO ("Yellow Magic Orchestra") and his musical inspirations specifically from games are Gradius, Exed Exec, Thexder, Ys, and Sorcerian. His favorite games are Xevious, The Tower of Druaga, and Samurai Spirits.
