    There will be a third special edition called "Tales of Xillia DX Pack". No pictures, but it'll come with a plushie, a set of file folders, a poster and a cloth. The game's theme song will be "Progress" sung by Ayumi Hamasaki. Also, costumes from the anime Star Driver will be released as DLC.

    The combat looks fun. Faster than in previous 3D Tales games, from the look of it. I hope this game gets localized... does anyone know how Vesperia sold in the West?

    Man that PS3 looks fucking great. Even though I hate the character designs by themselves, that looks fucking great.

    Do they have some mangaka doing the characters again? I really liked the designs in Vesperia and these look very.. different. I guess they'll grow on you.

    It's a collaboration between the two Tales series character artists. Kōsuke Fujishima designed for Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia. Mutsumi Inomata designed for Destiny, Destiny 2, Eternia, Rebirth, Tempest, Innocence, Hearts and Graces. This is the first time they're working together.

    Honestly, all the shit I've seen from that game looks ultra generic, which is a shame since Vesperia was very much not THAT generic (Karol and Estelle aside)
     
    still have to beat vesperia though

    Looks great except for the girl's character design, the armour looks really goofy like a power ranger or something. I'd say it will probably eventually get localized as all the home console versions do (except for special editions such as PS3 Vesperia). Tales of Graces is coming out soon, if that sells really badly then maybe we won't so hopefully it will pick up a lot of sales. Problem is, as the series goes on production costs go up so more sales are needed in order to turn a profit.

    I absolutely love everything I'm seeing about this game. So freaking gorgeous. That girl's design is just awesome and that PS3 makes me want to buy it. I'll definitely be picking this up if it comes to NA... PLEASE COME TO NA!

    The Tales series are one of the few JRPGs that I'm still into these days, so I'm pretty pumped for Xillia. Also, that custom PS3 looks awesome.

    It took a while for my mind to register that as a Tales game. I'd be more excited, but I don't own a PS3. Besides, I'm waiting on Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem: Shin Monshou no Nazo.

    They haven't localized all of the home console games (Tales of Rebirth and Tales of Destiny 2 didn't come outside Japan), just for the record. And I'm not sure they'd have decided to do Graces if not for the fan outcry. I agree that the localization of this depends on the sales performance of Graces.
     
    Such a pretty emblem on that PS3, too bad I don't need one. I want this game so badly, I'm just waiting for them to start taking preorders.

    I was only really referring to the recent entries I should say.
     
    I'm glad to see them stepping up their game from what I gather in the trailer (control over the camera, bigger environments, cinematic camera angles during cutscenes etc.) even though I would buy this without these aspects included.

    Looks okay at best, character design is still terible but the environments are nice, and the gameplay looks like it's trying to hard to be Star Ocean.
