Tartarus

Location »

Originated in Greek mythology, it is the deepest layer of hell, where Zeus imprisoned the Titans. It has appeared in many different incarnations, but most of the time it is linked with death, myths, and hell.

Abyss of Time

The place that appears at the bottom of the SEES dorm. Contains doors that lead to the past, present, and future.
Ancient Greece

Historically speaking a period from 1100 B.C. to 146 A.C. ending with the Roman conquest after the battle of Corinth, however it also envelops all of the Greek myths (including the ones of creation), Greek tales, and Classical Greek places that appear in a multitude of games.
Dorm

The building where the members of the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad reside. In other words, this is their base of operations.
Gekkoukan High School

The high school where the main characters of Persona 3 attend. This is where the player spends his daily life by studying and interacting with other classmates.
Iwatodai Station

The place closest to the SEES dorm. The player can buy food or do other things to increase stats (charm, courage, etc.). The player can also talk to social links here.
Japan

Japan is an island country located in Eastern Asia and the Western Pacific Ocean. In the video game industry, Japan has for a long time been one of the most important territories for the development and sale of video games.
Moonlight Bridge

Place where SEES members battle the Hanged Man Shadow, as well as the origin of Death and Aigis's past.
Naganaki Shrine

Located at Iwatodai, this is where the player can increase academics by offering a monetary amount. The player can also pray, and probably get lucky.
Olympus

A large Greek mountain where the very early Olympic games started, it was also believed that the Greek/Roman gods 'lived' at the very top of the mountain.
Paulownia Mall

A central shopping point in Persona 3. The player can buy weapons, armor, or other items available in the stores around the mall.
Port Island Station

The island where Gekkoukan High is built on. Where most of the important events happen in the game.
Seaside Clamshell Inn

A "love hotel" in Persona 3, which also appears in Persona 4.
Sparta

A great greek city-state that produced many great warriors. Normally the rivals of Athens .
Tatsumi Port Island

The artificial island/city where Persona 3 is set and a brief portion of Persona 4 takes place.
Velvet Room

Home to Igor, a mysterious character from the Persona games. He helps those who have been granted access to the Velvet Room build their power and fuse personas.
