    Tea-Bagging

    Concept »

Also known as corpse-humping, tea-bagging is a slang term in video games when after a player has slain another player or NPC, they move their character over the dead character's body and crouch up and down repeatedly, adding a humiliating, and often humorous, factor to the character's death.

    Teabagging That Isn't Annoying?

With the amount of time I've put into Red Faction Guerrilla's absolutely excellent multiplayer component, I've gotta say that I've garnered a newfound respect for teabagging the fool who's killed you.  Why?  After someone kills you, the camera follows them around.  In this effect, they don't even have to stand above your body to teabag you.  They can just start crouching the minute they kill you.  For some reason, I should be pissed about this, right?

But I can't be.  I laugh like crazy every time it happens!!!  I think it's just the fact that the camera automatically follows them afterwards, and they'll just be teabagging the camera that you are watching on.  It's seriously something to behold.  I'll have to make a teabagging video so people can understand.

This raises the question:  a lot of people find teabagging to be annoying and rude, but has there ever been a time (or repeated occasions) where teabagging wasn't annoying for you in a video game, but rather it was hilarious or just downright facepalm worthy?

When someone teabags me in Red Faction, I hunt them down and murder them (ingame, naturally).

I've been killed by someone on TF2 and he started teabagging my character for like 10 seconds (long respawn timer). I noticed a friendly spy come out from the backround, slowly walk up to him and stab him in the back then proceed to teabag both me and the guy. Then he got shot in the head by a Sniper.

    It was pretty funny.

I always thought it was kinda funny the way bodies bounced in Halo 3 when you teabagged them.

I only teabag in Halo 3, and normally only when someone's being annoying. It's all a laugh, though, whenever someone does it to me I do it back and it goes on from there. A good teabagging is always funny.

But StarFox, you know you at least chuckle every time someone does it...right?  I just can't explain it for me, but it's so fucking funny every time someone does it in RFG.  In CoD or Halo or BF2, it's just annoying as shit.  In RFG, though, there's something about it.  Maybe it's the idea that you're being teabagged on Mars?

Yes i make a point of that too. No matter what game it may be, if someone does it, i can´t shake the need to go after that guy until i get him, no matter how many times i end up dying. "
AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH!!!  There's nothing more infuriating than having to chase down a dood just to get a revenge teabagging on him!

Man, I still haven't played jack for shit of TF2.  I've played a little, but not much.  I really should get into that shit.  STARFOX, WE GOTTA MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

I don't care for it at all, like I don't even see how people can be annoyed. To me it's not my dead body, it's just a ragdoll.

???  Zombie, your comment makes no sense in the scheme of things.  We're talking about how teabagging can actually not be annoying as Hell sometimes.  You are trying to give us an understanding of the logic behind teabagging...which we're basically aware of.  o.O  LOL

For me, don't get tbagged to often, really the only online shooter I play is TF2 (because it's the best one).

Besides, everyone knows that the asshole thing to do in RFG is to continue arc-welding someone's dead body so they'll continue being electrocuted when they respawn!  DUH, RIGHT?!

i think its pretty funny most of the time. if im in a match where nobody's teabagging ill just start doing it to everybody to get the ball rolling. i guess i enjoy the irony of getting teabagged by the guy you just teabagged.

My friends were in a Halo 3 game were one of them was killed by the detachable flamethrower, and the guy who killed him had no shields left and decided to teabag him...he died from the flames.

They sent me the replay afterwards. Teabag fail.
