Team Fortress 2
Game » consists of 12 releases. Released Oct 10, 2007
The long-awaited sequel to the class-based first-person shooter Team Fortress Classic sports a unique cartoony visual style, more accessible gameplay, and a very large amount of updates and new features since its original release.
How amazing is the TF2 team?
I know. It's pretty insane.
And most of the work is out of game, all the posters and comics and cartoons they do is great.
" meh wish they stopped doing comics for a few weeks to bring that update they promised for the 360 version "Hopefully they're saving it for once they've got all the major class updates done.
Hopefully. I'd be amazed if they bothered now. I still play the 360 version regularly.

At least don't announce you're going to bring an update to the 360 version if you're not going to do it." meh wish they stopped doing comics for a few weeks to bring that update they promised for the 360 version "PC has always been Valve's bread and butter. If by "needless" you mean "wildly successful" and "really fucking cool". The TF2 updates are amazing. Looking back I would have payed a full $50 for TF2 alone, or even more, knowing how much time and fun I'd get out of this game. But it was practically free.
" meh wish they stopped doing comics for a few weeks to bring that update they promised for the 360 version "I doubt they have programmers drawing comics for them.
" @cinemandrew said:But why would they want to do that when they can pull technical people away from working on the game to work on something they weren't hired for, and likely have no experience doing?" @nail1080 said:Lol, yeah. They most likely outsource all that. Well, at the same time, microsoft requires publishers to charge for updates like the ones the pc audiences are getting. So first off, if they WERE updating more often then there would probably be complaining about how Valve is milking TF2.
Also, since you'll have to pay for it, they want to make sure it's worth your money, so they want to put all the classes in it.
Also, the extraneous stuff Valve does is awesome and I don't mind it at all.
Finally, even really shitty pcs can run TF2, so if you don't want to wait, and since you'll have to pay for the final update anyway, you might as well just get the pc version.
