    So we got some Boxing Gloves that guarantee crits for 5 seconds after getting a kill with 'em. Not bad. I'll wait to see.

    While the achievements aren't up yet, if you download the high res set the names of those indicate what they are.

    I doubt that. In the TF2 blog they specifically mentioned that they didn't want to change the role of any class by giving them something that would approach the role of another. In other words no fast heavies, no high hp Scouts and no Spies with explosives.

    Wat. The K.G.B. give you 100% crit rate for 5 seconds after scoring a kill with them. The Ubersaw charges 25% of your ubercharge. I don't see the similarities.

    Only similar in the fact their disadvantage is the slower swing speed.

    They both have different positive effects.

    Not going to have much point. You're expending more ammo to kill someone more slowly. If the slow is any less than 25% the only purpose it will have is giving Snipers easy headshots.

    $100 says I play TF2 at least 3 times more than you do. I know when it would be useful to slow down your enemies. When a Pyro is in your face you're going to want that extra 25% damage or you will die. When an enemy Medic is healing your target you're not going to be able to kill it even at medium range.  Scouts will be the only easy target with Natascha. And don't forget you'll be using more ammo and it will take 25% longer to kill everyone.

    Basically any time your enemies are not running it's going to be useless, but I'll wait to see how slow it makes them before weighing up the cons.

    Well, we'll just have to see how it plays out. Valve doesn' t just put out updates without thinking them through. I can foresee them upping the damage done by Nastasha or increasing the speed decrease it inflicts.

    But really, what is your deal Demilich? Do you always have to be a dick to everyone?

    As for the new gun, i think its pretty neat. I don't really have a say on it until i try it out though.

    Has the sandwiches thing been confirmed yet? If anyone knows anything, any idea on what spot it will take in the inventory? I can't imagine the Heavy being more viable on its own with a healing item over a shotgun, as Sasha takes to long to warm up. It sounds like delaying the inevitable.

    After killing an enemy Scout the Heavy has 5 seconds to perform a taunt, causing him to eat a Sandvich restoring 100 HP.

    I doubt it would get its own slot if it were unlockable, as that would throw off the balance of the game. There is always the possibility that it replaces the fists or the K.G.B. no one said one new item for each slot was a requirement.  Maybe we will actually see more then 3 items for the heavy?

    I take it that's our new " meet the..." video. If so, kinda disappointed we didn't get to see medic, spy or pyro. Regardless the sandvitch was hilarious.

    I really don't know what to think of it replacing the shotgun. On one hand I'm rarely a heavy when i don't have a medic buddy so health isn't an issue. On the other I barley use the shotgun as the heavy either.

    So now that the update is out and we've at a play with the weapons what are peoples though?

    I currently have Sasha, sandvich and boxing gloves equipped. The new mini gun definitely feels underpowered and it doesn't seem to slow players down enough to warrant the damage decrease.

    I really like playing arena though. It gives me an opporunity to really put the pyros flare gun to use.
