TF2: Meet the Medic
I actually don't think this is that much better. Don't get me wrong, I love it a whole lot, but I'd rather see Meet the Spy than this.
Just the Pyro left now. Wonder how long that will take.
The best online FPS just got better.
I've been playing since 2007 and I welcome more players. Everyone should enjoy this amazing game.
I usually don't notice this sort of thing, but his hands seem really out of proportion. It's kinda weirding me out.
Took them long enough to make this, but it was well worth the wait. Another excellent TF2 video from the people at Valve.
All we need now is the "Meet the Pyro" video and more hats for TF2 xD
I know what he calls himself, but after getting zapped by the medi gun, it either grew back, or it was there in the first place.@Bismarck said:

...wouldn't that dude's eyeball have grown back if he was shot with the healing gun?
SHIT
He calls himself a "Black Scottish Cyclops" in his Meet The video.
It's a shame that the Meet The videos have gotten this creative only now, there was so much potential for the original ones - the Meet The Heavy is tame and boring in comparison.
One more to go - give it all you got, Pyro!
@buckybit said:"TF2 is one of the most loved multiplayer games ever" but Quake3/Quake Live isn't?You are right, but don't you dare compare Quake online and Battlefield online to TF2... I mean, TF2 is one of the most loved multiplayer games ever. It's the bread and butter of pc gaming enthusiasts for multiplayer and it has been for over 5 years so yeah... This F2P thing will be a huge deal. I've played this game more than any other game in my life and this move is scary but one that I have good faith on so I welcome all the new members. See you on the control point.I met the medic ... and I don't care too much. But that's completely beyond the point ( - what I like).
Valve's F2P move is bold, some want us to think. They are shaking up the industry again - some say. I can't see that. Maybe I am blind. They reached a market saturation with their game and made a business decision which reflects what they do with TF2 - besides patching it 200 times - they experiment.
They could sell their full game version again and again to new customers, but that would take a very long time and they would sell only small amounts*. Giving it away for free and up-selling (let's see what they will come up with in the next 1-2 years?) makes lot's of sense. It's almost like the Steam client itself. Giving away Portal 1 so people would install their Steam client and hence buy games from their store.
But I don't think this will 'shake up' anything. Quake Online didn't stop people from buying new shooters. Nor Battlefield Online etc... - it's just one entry level for a certain group. Plenty of fish in the sea...
*they like to read their stats (the most precious data in the industry: Steam stats).
wat?

One more to go - give it all you got, Pyro! The first few were weak but they weren't properly part of the 'Meet The' series if I remember right, the Sniper, Demoman and Spy ones were all fantastic.
Heck maybe they'll redo the Heavy/Soldier/Engineer, although the Engineer one was quite good.
