Not sure why I'm even making this, I can't even play the PC version. The last time I played it the flare gun was new. I'm stuck on the 360 version. 
 
Anyway- who deserves that new weapon?

Soldier!  but I think Demoman will get it... from what I've played on a 32 player server, my whole team was soldiers aside from a couple engineers, and the other team was demoman.  Damn when there are so many of them with grenades that can even kill you in one hit, they had an easy time racking up many kills.  Constantly I saw messages saying so and so has contributed 25 soldier kills, while I only saw a couple that said that about demoman kills.

Don't know about deserves, but I definitely want the Soldier to win this one as he's easily my favourite class and, as it happens, the Demoman is my least favourite class.
 
Valve have persuaded me to go back to playing TF2 this week I think.

I can't even play the PC version, but I'mma go with Demoman.

I'm hoping for soldier, but I also REALLY hate Demomen.

I hope soldier will get it but yeah, when playing some of the big servers, the demoman's stickies are deadly.

I suck at both the soldier and the demoman. But my desicion is the soldier. Why because DEMOMEN ARE FRICKING NOOBS THAT CANT GET A KILL WITHOUT CAMPING IN ONE SPOT AND USING THEIR STICKY BOMBS...
P.S. The soldier's charecter is way more cool than the demoman.

I want the soldier to win, and that is why I will not be playing as the soldier at all this week. I know I'll be killed by lots more demomen than I kill. In fact, I might play as the demoman a bit, because I suck as demoman and will get killed by tonnes of soldiers.

I'm playing a Demo for the time being since I love setting traps in particular and never got aiming at feet down with the soldier, but I'll take it for Soldier too. It would be another reason to play Soldier, which honestly I could use.

HAHA soldiers are killing your demo-asses at the moment.

The demoman is the underdog in this war considering the soldier has a much higher skill cap. As a result I personally feel the war effort the demomen would have to put in would be higher thereby granting them the unique item.

Its kinda hard to tell who need the weapon more as we dont know what the other 6  new unlocks will be but im rooting for Demo as i think theyre a better and more skill based class.

I'm a poorly demoman player and I prefer the soldier when I play. So I vote for soldier :)

The Demoman should win, of course.  He is fighting against more odds than just the Soldier's easiness (haha i kid :)  He is Scottish, missing an eye and he's black.  His new unlocks make him choose between 3 items for Slot 2 - The Soldier can put all his new toys on once he unlocks them!  So as you can see with my poorly developed argument, the Demoman should definitely win.
