This was actually a pretty cool game. If I remember right, it was Metroid or Castlevania but with TMNT. A little different from the other side-scrolling turtle games. Turtles looked cooler in this game too. I remember you had to rescue each turtle and one of them was in a jail or something. Each turtle had their own special ability. The final boss fights were pretty epic too. I'd definetly place this as maybe the 2nd-4th best turtle game.

I never had a game boy so I dont remember this one but I looked up the box art

I now want to play it, if only to see why Leonardo is so damn mad at that wall. Ninja Turtle box art is the best cause theyre always so pissed off at things. My personal fav is Hyperstone Heist for the Genesis cause theyre giving the collective stink eye to a little city. I mean what could that city ever have done to the turtles?

Yeah, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 box art is bad ass. It's been a while, but from what I remember, this game did have a slightly darker vibe to it than the other turtle games at the time. Definitely recommend it.

I didn't even know this game existed. Is it as good as the metroid games ?
