Did that woman just take her head off and hit me with it!

First off Id just like to say i was a huge fan of tekken on the playstation 1, I loved those games but i didnt play any of the playstation 2 not because i didnt think they looked good but I just seemned to forget about the Tekken franchise but when I heard Tekken 6 was coming to the Xbox 360 I new it was time to come back to Tekken.

The Tekken franchise came to acclaim due to its success in Japanese arcades, and now it has been released for consols in the US and Europe. It was known for its fantastic fighting system, large cast of characters and strange but funny sense of humour. All of these are present in Tekken 6 with over 40 characters unlocked straight away for local and online play.

A new feature that has been added for the consols is a mode called "Scenario Campane". In this mode you take control
of a new character called  Lars Alexanderson as run around in a 3d enviroment smashing guys and girls in the face. At first  the controls can feel a little un-responsive and a bit inaccurate but after a while you get used to them and start to enjoy it.

Now to the really important stuff, the one on one fighting. This is typically what you would expect from a Tekken game, fast, responsive and alot of crazy moves, one of which is when new character Alisa Bosconovitch takes her head off and smashes you with it. Everything flows so well, theres nothing better then seeing your opponent sprint at you then as they come in for a fly kick the button combination you just hit makes your character duck down to doge the attack then in one foul swoop you smash your opponent in to the air and hearing that famouse fraze "K.O".

Even though the Scenario Campane isnt to great the fighting is still awsome especially if you have someone to play with. This Tekken has brought back so many fond memories of the old ones like Tekken 2.  If you didnt like any of the other Tekken games then chances are you want like this one. If you loved the old ones this definitely brings back and adds to what was great about those games and i recomend you get it, if you have never played a Tekken game but think you might be interested then I suggest you start now.

      Disagree with JeffG 0

I disagree with Jeff Gerstmann on the extra baggage part of Tekken 6. If anything, there wasn't enough..  I always like the funny snippit endings of the characters, but they had barely any story behind them just funnies.. The game revolves around Lars, who IS cool, but not cool enough to take the reigns himself..  I also enjoy the adventure mode, its just fun beat'em up action and you have to do the harder modes and play alot to get all the neat outfits you cannot just go and buy..   The arcade ...
