What Other Properties Should TellTale Work On?

#1 Posted by ch3burashka (5083 posts) -

TellTale is the new kid on the block, apparently. Everyone wants a piece of TellTale. They're getting offers right and left - Back to the Future this, Jurassic Park that, and now how about some Walking Dead!

Obviously, they's going places. What kind of places would you like to see them go? This is off the top of my dome, but I think a non-Neo-centric Matrix adventure game would be pretty sweet. There a lot of good story to be told, even though they fucked up most of it after the first movie.

LucasArts should have made one during the nineties. Such wasted potential :(

Yeah, it seems almost absurd that they didn't make one. But at least we got Indiana Jones.

lol. How would that go? Maybe you'd control Jeff on his quest to find out who stole his choco taco. I think it was Denis Dyack.

*sigh* People still like Star Wars, huh.

I dunno, that's a very prestigious license. They'd have a tough time obtaining it, paying the fees for likenesses, etc. Luchadeer alone would probably bankrupt them.

I don't actually like Telltale games that much.

I think I'm in the minority.

#18 Posted by cnlmullen (900 posts) -

Hmmmmm... Maybe a Simpsons point and click adventure game.

I personally loved Puzzle Agent and would like to see them continue that series.

A Bill and Ted's episodic adventure game would be bodacious, Star Trek (original, TNG or DS9) would be great, Battlestar Galactica would work, Red Dwarf could be amazing, and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy could easily be the best adventure game ever made.

Use [Towel] on [Vogon].

There was a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure game, if you're curious.

Red Dwarf...Why didn't I think of that! Jesus christ man that would be such a good game if they gave the characters the proper respect.
#27 Posted by SammydesinasNL (840 posts) -

They're making another game alright.
#28 Posted by Vorbis (2750 posts) -

They should remake Discworld Noir or do a followup, replaying that I remembered just how tough the old adventure games used to be, without a guide it lasts longer than most RPGs.

I find it hilarious that you necro'd a thread with a comment that doesn't expand at all on the conversation from almost 3 years prior.

I'm still wrapping my head around how they plan to make that work.

What next? Telltale Presents Tingle's Kooloo Limpah Chronicles?

Honestly, ever since the idea of a "Battle Royale" Telltale game got into my mind, it won't get out.

#38 Posted by Yummylee (21661 posts) -

Telltale's Nightmare on Elm Street...

I just want a Nightmare on Elm Street game, and making it an adventure game ala TWD/Heavy Rain would seem like the most fitting.
