Short...But Who'd Want it To Be Long?
John Connor, the most pointless hero in the history of movies, is back again. And he's leading the fight against the machines again. Now, Terminator had the launch of their movie (which is apparently good) and had their TV series canceled (which is not good news), so I guess the game is the rubber match in this battle.
Well, the game looks really good. The environments look suitably destroyed. And the characters all look really good and they animate wonderfully. The enemies lack variety --- but they did in the movies, too, so it's explainable. They do look really good as well. The framerate is rock solid and never really dips. Audio is also pretty good.
But, the game has a small problem.
On hard, I beat it in 150 minutes.
The movie lasts, per IMDB, 130 minutes. So the game is a whopping 20 minutes longer than the movie. 20 minutes.
You know, that is a bit hard to justify. And this is a problem. Easily the wost buy you could make, but a really solid rental for a day.
This is a really short review, but the game is short, so it fits.
