    Overview

The Adventures of Tintin: Prisoners of the Sun is a side-scrolling platforming action game based on two entries in the Herge's (Georges Remi) beloved Belgian comic series: "The Seven Crystal Balls" and "Prisoners of the Sun." The player controls intrepid boy-reporter Tintin and must rescue the absent-minded and hard-of-hearing Prof. Cuthbert Calculus.

The game follows the same format as Tintin in Tibet, with Tintin making his way through dangerous areas while solving the occasional puzzle. Tintin is able to go in and out of the background, using the two planes to avoid dangers.
