Ads on Youtube are optional, and are set in the uploader's account settings under Monetization.From the sickening amount of ads that have infested it over the past few years
You can set whether to have just ads NEXT TO the video, Google AdSense at the bottom, an ad that plays before the video, an unskippable ad that plays before the video, or just none of the above.
The USERS are to blame for that, it's not a compulsary thing enforced by the site.
