Overview
The Ark was built in the 2010s by the Founders as an eco-resort for wealthy tourists. As a result of global warming, Earth's seas began to rise which forced the Ark to relocate away from primary landmasses. Due to the collapse of the world's established civilizations, many people from around the world (referred to as Guests or Refugees) relocated to the Ark and were forced to live in slums surrounding the city. The Ark's Founders were eventually forced to ration essential resources such as hydrated water, which caused public outcry amongst the Ark's Refugees - some of which formed the Resistance led by Brother Chen. The Resistance's main goal is to protect the Refugees and escape the Ark to make contact with people outside the Ark. However the Ark Security, led by Captain Mokoena, have a goal to save the Ark from the Resistance who they view as terrorists.
