Best beach in a game?

The sun, the water....

For me, it was probably Koopa Beach from Mario Kart 64, or maybe one of the courses from Wave Race. I was also impressed a little bit by Crysis's take on it.

I like the beach 'vibe' games like Outrun and Outrun 2 get right. Super saturated blue skies, the guitar sound, all of that. Mario Sunshine also had some great beaches in that way.

Halo 1 did have a great beach storming level.

Riddick Dark Athena has a great alien beachfront in the opening.

I like the Super Mario Kart 1 Koopa Beach theme and style too.
