    The Chimera is a boss fight in both Gauntlet: Legends, and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy. He is Skorne's guardian of the Castle Stronghold.

    The Chimera guards it's keep atop the Castle Stronghold fiercely, and is not ready to part with it's magical shard so easily. However, it can be greatly weakening by the Scimitar of Decapitation, which does exactly what it's name says. It takes away the lion's head so that the boss is easier to defeat.
