Both a remake and expansion to the critically-acclaimed Xbox and PC title The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, Dark Athena features both the original campaign, an all-new campaign and new multiplayer modes.
I stumbled onto this juicy tidbit recently. If it's to be believed there WILL indeed be a PC version.
We can only hope.
From the tone of it though it sounds like it may be coming out some time after the console versions. Nothing new there in the world of PC gaming. Heck, the original Butcher Bay didn't hit PC's for, what, a full year after the Xbox version?
I really hope it does, i saw the trailer not expecting anything since i've never been into Redick chronicle games but it looks really good so i really want it now. It really looks like they could get some use out of DX10 with this game and make it look really sharp. Starbreeze, MAKE MY DX10 CARD WORTHWHILE!!!
Speaking of starbreeze if u look on their page here at GiantBomb they made several (3) PC and cosole titles, the only thing they didn't make for it was The Darkness. So i would say that their is a pretty good chance that they do make a PC version as well. Also since they're with Atari on this and Atari is pretty good on making PC versions such as Alone in The Dark (not good by the way but at least their showing love to the PC)
but again at FAde2Cray said, we can only hope, plus the article he posted said that on October 30th (date article posted) Atari confirmed that a PC version should roll out so there is some hope.
