The reviews weren't great, and the demo didn't grab me so I never considered The Club when it was released.

But I recently picked it up second hand and have to say I think it's a damn fine game.

I think a lot of people missed the point with it.  I suppose if you picked it up looking for a Gears of War style 3rd person shooter, you'd be disappointed.  But it's more of an old school score attack game, and I'm finding it pretty awesome and addictive.

    Anyone else rate this game?

I'm not going to judge the game by the demo because I haven't played the full game, however I will say this about the demo:
    It was just horrible.

I really enjoyed the demo and enjoy the retail game, but it is definitely one of those "not for everyone" games.

Yeah, this game kicks ass. It's a shame I'm not good enough to get better than silver on the default difficulty, though. :(

This game can really make me feel inept some days...

It's not something you can play for hours on end, but it's fun in small bursts.

I liked the demo mostly because I enjoy Time Attack/Score games.

I totally agree. I love the Club but I'm surprised that majority of the players and the public didn't really favor this game so much. It's a shame cos it's a damn fun game. I rate it 4.5/ 5!!! Check out my review.

That's how I feel about Burnout Paradise.  Gets too frustrating to me.  I've got the Club as well but it's so far been sitting on my shelf for a few months not having played it at all yet.

I like The Club I got it 4 months ago and I still play it I didn't think it's single player was that great but it was decent but it's multiplayer is something that I really enjoy about it I am still glad a lot of people still play it online.

I don't care if anyone else thought it was a bad game I enjoyed it and I only paid £8 for it and I thought it worth it considering multiplayer is still been used.

My friends and I rented this over a weekend and enjoyed it for how bad it was.

I never played the story, but the split-screen is some of the most fun i've had since Halo 2

They have a $10 copy of it over at my nearest Blockbuster, maybe I should pick it up.
