The release of The Conduit on Wii next month will see a special edition version released also.

It's about time they started with some special edition Wii games (other than the Zapper packs).  This looks very nice indeed.

The special edition boxart looks pretty good especially in comparison with the regular boxart...

I like the slip a lot more than those giant tins they give you for the 360 games.

Wait how is there already a box quote on the cover when the game hasn't even been reviewed yet. Actually I don't think it's even gone gold yet so somebody has got some seriously early access to the game.

Besides the awesome box art, there's nowhere near enough stuff to warrant another $10 in a purchase. Artbook, maybe, but a "tips and tricks" guide and some new skins?

Or it's a mock up and that quote won't actually be there and replaced with a real one.

Hm... We'll see. I'm definitely going to be picking this one up. I might get the special edition. We'll see. It's only ten bucks more.

Sorry to perform thread necromancy but I thought it would be important to point out that at least here in the US the Limited Edition is an exclusive free upgrade to pre-orders at Gamestop. This is part of a growing trend of Gamestop exclusive Limited/Collector/Special editions which now includes the Halo 3: ODST LE.
