The Eighth Colossus is the eighth enemy fought by Wander in Shadow of the Colossus. Like the game's other Colossi, it is a large golem that appears to be at least partially constructed from stone. This Colossus resembles a lizard that dwells at the bottom of a tall cylindrical arena located in a forest to the southeast of the Shrine of Worship.
The battle begins with the Colossus unaware of the player's presence. Once it notices an intruder, it will climb the walls of the arena in an effort to locate Wander, shooting energy bolts from its mouth that leave behind poisonous clouds upon impact. By firing arrows into the Colossus' legs as it hangs from the wall, Wander can knock the creature down and onto its back, exposing its weak point.
