Well there you go. Now no one can complain about not being able to see it!

Daggerfall Skeletons slowly degrades their enemies' mind by screaming loudly and obnoxiously at every opportunity they get.

That's a pretty good summary of the video right there. Considering one of my earliest blogs was about Daggerfall (for fun, look at the comments for the crazy person who signed up just to troll my younger self), I obviously had issues watching them fumble around. Yeah, I get that it's fun to do the funny choices, but in a game as totally unbalanced and generally messed up as Daggerfall, you can't really pick the Bard with their ultra-pointless social skills and expect to do well in a game where social interaction skills are worthless. Then again, that probably can also be blamed on the fact that making a custom class (which, for all intents and purposes is the way to succeed) isn't front and center in character creation. Generally speaking, some of the fun of that game is wondering how on earth some of those design decisions passed certification, and how the game in general passed certification with the insane number of game-breaking bugs it had at launch.

Sucks the audio is so out of sync. But yeah that's pretty much how it went down.

LOL, funny as always. Too bad I couldn't keep watching because the sound is out of sync. Hopefully they'll fix that.

I haven't seen the video since I am not a subscriber but I read a bit about Daggerfall. Is Daggerfall as big as Oblivion but just with old graphics?

Map-wise, Daggerfall is 11878~ times bigger than Oblivion.

487,000km2 compared to 41km2.

In case anyone thinks I'm being dismissive (I was kind of rudely yelling things in chat on the day too), it was a very funny playthrough and I'm appreciative that they came in especially on a Saturday to make it. I kind of wish people stopped giving them stick for making it members only - there won't be as many Happy Hours, so they're clearly testing new ways to justify a subscription. I only bought this month's for the SNES feed, but may keep it for longer if spontaneous stuff like this keeps happening.

Absolutely loved it. Hysterical at times. Damn games used to be absolutely brutal.

I loved Vinny's joy at every victory.

Thank you for saving two hours of my life that I can better spend on Star Trek Online. ;)

I approve of this, also really makes me wish I wasn't on a tight budget.

I am in no position to examine Vinny and Dave's choices, having not played the game, but it made every victory that much sweeter. And man, that skeleton noise is horrifying. Absolutely horrifying. But that bear? He didn't stand a chance.

Hey, this was only the first one and a half hour or so. After that they decide to roll a less worthless class, rolfstomp everything in the dungeon and come above-ground victorious. VICTORY.

I didn't play a lotof daggerfall but I can still dream the starting dungeon of Arena. I replayed that game so many times, not in the least because it had a game breaking bug that wouldn't let you progress on the main quest after a certain point. That was the days before people generally had internet to download patches.

I just bought the monthly subscription.

I hate everyone.

Daggerfall is way bigger. And judging by the video, also horrible.

Daggerfall is notorious for being incredibly buggy, too. A lot of the most heinous bugs were fixed with patches, but playing the game at release was apparently a disaster in the making.

There's a reason why Bethesda has a reputation for buggy games.
