So like Jeff went on about on the bombcast recently, Ive sort of f***** the balance of my game by jumping & running my way to a much higher level than my combat, armor, & magic can take. I suppose I can go to the sewers in hopes of beefing up my combat ever so slowly, but even then the weapons themselves are quite a few levels below where I gotta have em be. Just hoping for some tips. Like where to aquire easy money to buy more powerful weapons & armor, what magic/alchemy stuff to look for that bests helps folks who are stealth & personality types when you absolutely must fight, etc. Thanks.

Go to the options menu and slide the difficulty slider to the left.

open up console and bump your combat stats up to a reasonable level (or make them stupid high and go kill things by looking at them too hard)

I kinda forgot how fucked the leveling system in oblivion was, lol

I power-leveled in Oblivion, meaning I always upgraded 3 attributes by 5 (the maximum) for each level. I became pretty powerful early on, but as a result never faced any of the later level enemies along with the later level loot.

I'm just not levelling up on my current playthrough, makes me feel like my character is actually getting better but on the downside I will always get crap loot and crap armour.
I'm currently trying to kill Umbra for some ebony armour, jeez she is hard.

Go into 3rd person, jump forward and then pull back and land further back then where you intially jumped from.
