Do you guys think that the ascension of the Aldmeri Dominion would be a concept being developed for the future release of the (God save us) MMO? Would this be an evil faction like "The Horde" (WoW) or "The Sith" (SWToR)? Something like "The Empire vs. The Aldmeri Dominion"?

When (and if) this MMO is released, it's gonna be the saddest day of my life, since I hate grinding and never-ending games, and "The Elder Scrolls" is a true passion for me (my most beloved games). Or maybe it will be the happiest day, because it will be one less franchise to worry about, and spend my money and my time.

I honestly don't think that Betheda would make an MMO. Given how risky MMO seem to be and how successful the game they make are, they have no reason too.

    Also, the horde aren't evil.

Take the countless bugs, the broken insanity, the rampant exploits and the sociopathic fanbase of a Bethesda game... and put it in an MMO.

Oh my it would be glorious.... a total train-wreck but... glorious...

Well technically Tamriel is split into two halfs (Skyrim and Hammerfell being a bit fuzzy), but still, nope.

Bethesda will keep making better versions of the same game they've made for over a decade.

Gamers hate change and so Bethesda must be very popular. Even Valve are getting people upset with how they try new things rather than make a new FPS starring a guy who doesn't talk and a crowbar.

There won't be an Elder Scrolls MMO until Bethesda get bought out by some awful company only interested in raping it's corpse.

Reducing the different factions to good and evil will contradict everything Bethesda has been building up. Like the conflict between the Imperials and the Stormcloaks everyone seem to have their good sides and bad sides, save for maybe the Daedra.

But, no, I don't think it would make a great MMO. They would have to evolve the whole genre for it to work. And I don't think it's in their interest. Also, there's too few primary colors and gravity defying garments for the kids to care. It would fall in the same trap as Age of Conan.

From playing I got the impression that Hammerfell would be the next game. Anyone else get that feeling?

I think the Empire is probably done for. (Or perhaps YOU become the emperor next game).

    No interest in an MMO.

    I don't think MMOs are Bethesda's thing.
