So after reading EightBitShik post it got me thinking, who did you marry in game and why? I'm 200+ hours in and I want that trophy. I'm leaning toward that dark elf in the mages college or my house carl in Solitude.

I married Ysolda. She was the first to offer so I took her up on it.

Yeah, I married her too with my first character. There's not much offer for my second one, a female Khajiit, though.

@mikey87144: If you just want the trophy, save, get married, revert back to the previous save. Marriage has no real impact on the game, except that you can get 200 gold per day (and the gold stacks if you don't collect it every day, so no worries there).

Aeola the Huntress was my first love. Died in a tragic mountain climbing accident. She was an ice cold wife but will be missed.

@mikey87144: haha, well she did always refer to me as her love, or husband. but after completing the Companions story line, I had the impression that she wore the pants in the relationship - she's a straight killer.

Aeola the Huntress. She and I both love hunting and we hit it off right away. One thing led to another and I told her my feeling towards her in a tomb and she agreed to marry. We got married and now we live a happy life in Breezehome in Whiterun.

I can't remember her name, but the daughter of the shop owner in the first townhouse go to is who I married. She gives you a cut of the shops profits on the regular, plus, she always has a shop with her, so that's convenient.

I married Jordis the Sword-Maiden (the Solitude housecarl). I gave her a full set of Deadric armor and weaponry and she can tank basically anything in the game while I sit back and level up whatever skill I am working on at the moment.

Borgakh the Steel Heart. She was a key part of my quest for Dragon Scale Armour, mostly because I made her carry the bones and scales whenever we slayed one, haha. My Orc had been travelling and adventuring with her for some time and felt compelled to pop the question after a brief stint in prison. I gave her some Legendary Ebony armor as a wedding present, but I might upgrade that to Dragon Bone as I have more than enough to make it. I know Daedric is better, but I'd rather mine the ebony myself than buy it, which means it's going to take a while to actually find the stuff as I don't want to look up where I can find ebony veins.

Aela the Huntress. I married her because she could hold her own in a fight.

Mjoll the Lioness. She's an accomplished adventurer with a pleasant attitude who can tank with the best of them. The fact that she can't be killed doesn't hurt either. She talks too damn much though.

Aela The Huntress for me also. I couldn't pass up that free Archery training.

I wanted to marry that creepy cannibal chick Eola, but she won't have it. All her love is for Namira, bugs and slugs and stuff; marriage just isn't in fashion for her I guess.

I had a Breton male in the Dark Brotherhood so Muiri was a perfect match. The thing is, though, that she has a dialogue bug that makes her greet you the same way every time you encounter her even after you marry "Thanks again for solving my little.. problem" that kinda gets really annoying. At least she still says "Goodbye, my love" after every dialogue to make up for her buggy greeting.

All i know is that you cant pick another wife after you kill your first one. I got bored with Ysolda and wanted that dark elf in the mages guild, so i chopped her head off. What did i get? a lonely life in skyrim

she wanted you to commit a revenge murder for a bandit who basically took advantage of her (the bandit was her ex-lover) to get close with her best friend's family who he later robbed and pinned the robbery on her. So not only does her contract have to do with offing the ex-lover but she also requests you murder her former best friend.

Basically after you do all of the above on behalf of the DB she becomes and option for marriage. (You have to be apart of the DB for the quest to take place since it's apart of the questline)

Aela because she understands my need to turn into a werewolf and eat people.

I married Ysolda. Every time I'm at my alchemy station in my Whiterun house, she stands there saying "what is it my love?" over and over again.

Gloombound mine resets in an in game week and it has the most Ebony veins.
