So after reading EightBitShik post it got me thinking, who did you marry in game and why? I'm 200+ hours in and I want that trophy. I'm leaning toward that dark elf in the mages college or my house carl in Solitude.

Marriage Advice

I married Ysolda. She was the fist to offer so I took her up on it.
Yeah, I married her too with my first character. There's not much offer for my second one, a female Khajiit, though.
@mikey87144: If you just want the trophy, save, get married, revert back to the previous save. Marriage has no real impact on the game, except that you can get 200 gold per day (and the gold stacks if you don't collect it every day, so no worries there).

Aeola the Huntress was my first love. Died in a tragic mountain climbing accident. She was an ice cold wife but will be missed.
No lovey dovey lines?
Borgakh the Steel Heart. She was a key part of my quest for Dragon Scale Armour, mostly because I made her carry the bones and scales whenever we slayed one, haha. My Orc had been travelling and adventuring with her for some time and felt compelled to pop the question after a brief stint in prison. I gave her some Legendary Ebony armor as a wedding present, but I might upgrade that to Dragon Bone as I have more than enough to make it. I know Daedric is better, but I'd rather mine the ebony myself than buy it, which means it's going to take a while to actually find the stuff as I don't want to look up where I can find ebony veins.
I had a Breton male in the Dark Brotherhood so Muiri was a perfect match. The thing is, though, that she has a dialogue bug that makes her greet you the same way every time you encounter her even after you marry "Thanks again for solving my little.. problem" that kinda gets really annoying. At least she still says "Goodbye, my love" after every dialogue to make up for her buggy greeting.
so you saved her life then?I had a Breton male in the Dark Brotherhood so Muiri was a perfect match. @kingzetta:
Basically after you do all of the above on behalf of the DB she becomes and option for marriage. (You have to be apart of the DB for the quest to take place since it's apart of the questline)
ooh I thought it was one of the dark brotherhood members@kingzetta:
she wanted you to commit a revenge murder for a bandit who basically took advantage of her (the bandit was her ex-lover) to get close with her best friend's family who he later robbed and pinned the robbery on her. So not only does her contract have to do with offing the ex-lover but she also requests you murder her former best friend.Basically after you do all of the above on behalf of the DB she becomes and option for marriage. (You have to be apart of the DB for the quest to take place since it's apart of the questline)
I'll just leave this joke that someone said on YouTube on the subject.
"I don't need to marry anyone anymore. My one-handed skill is already at 100."
I married Ysolda. Every time I'm at my alchemy station in my Whiterun house, she stands there saying "what is it my love?" over and over again.

I need to be lit from my head to my feet
To make a long story short, girl I need me a freak
She can be fat, black, light skin, type slim
Matter fact shorty ain't even got to like me
As long as when she grab my meat, she take it down real deep
Till her body feel weak, then I'm fallin asleep
See I ain't talkin 'bout these pre-madonna bitches you meet
I need it good if I ask her to handle me and my peeps
Get down dirty, and lick ice down my butt cheeks
Then she wiggle, then I giggle, then she feel my nutsy
Then she give my dick a kiss, probably give her clit a kiss
Then I hit it from the back, then I yell who's shit is this?
Then I go so hard that she need her guts fixed
If she make my nuts itch, I kill that slut bitch
I done been around the world, uh huh, and never met a girl
That's so thorough
that could suck a dick until my toes curl, uh huh
...So Aela the Huntress....
