So i bought the game from gamestop and didn't preorder on the back of the box it says premiym physical map included inside. And i noticed they were giving away the map as a preoder bonus. So did they just open all the copies and take the map out?

If there isn't a map in the box with the manual then yes, they were taking them out. I ordered mine from an online retailer and got the map in a shrink wrapped sealed copy.

They say it is a pre-order bonus, but since it is inside shrink wrapped copies I would say it is more accurate that it is the first run of the game that will have it.
