Todd Howard gave the keynote at DICE this year and showed off the gamejam the team at bethesda did. THe idea is that you have 1 week to do what ever you want in skyrim. From pitch dark dungeons to dragon mounts the things they came up with were insane. He said some stuff might make it into the final build. Id imagine that spears, goblins and the kinect stuff would have the best shot.

The lycanthropy tree and vampire lord and magic kill cams are some of my favorites. With enough time they could do some impressive DLC.

That giant mud-crab at the end was fucking incredible. If even a sliver of that stuff get's into the real game, it would be great.

YES!!!!!!!! Ride-able dragons. Please Bethesda, please put this into the next round of DLC. If Bethesda can't implement it, I hope modders can do this. I'm so psyched.

I would be happy for them to just throw everything they did onto the Steam Workshop as-is so people can play with it. Some of that stuff looked like it should've been in the game in the first place (ranged/magic killcams and better follower interaction).

Most of that could probably have been in the game at launch if Bethesda developed mainly (or only) for PC, like the spears, shaders, large dark dungeons, and enhanced water (like flows, streams and better underwater effects)...

Holy fuck. I want all of those things. Especially the darker dungeons, which I guess is already something I can get from some mod. The brief glimpse of that one made it feel like Dark Souls. The same with the gigantic mudcrab.

The lycanthropy perk-tree is also a stroke of genius. Wonder how easy it is to add perk-trees like that. Would be cool to have one for lycanthropy and vampirism, making it possible to become a werebear and that vampire lord. So many possibilities!

Skyrim needs more gigantic boss battles. Imagine Shadow of the colossus sized monsters roaming the land and you could climb up their backs to kill them. Come to think of it, where is my SOTC mod.

I can see how riding the dragons could break the game (even more than it is now) but was it really that difficult to put in the kill cams for bows and magic? I mean, even Fallout 3 has a kill cam for headshots. I also really hope that at some point we will get spell combos.

What pisses me off is seeing things in the video that should of been in the stock game. Like footprints in the snow?! Jesus, I feel bad if they really needed a week set aside of the main development to figure that shit out.

...I was expecting a lot more dumb random stuff, not things that make me disappointed they aren't actually in the game.

God dammit! Now I can't play Skyrim without thinking how awesome battles fighting and crawling on giant monsters or even enormous flying dragons would be.

    DUDE!

I want to fight that fucking mudcrab. In fact, I'd like to see Skyrim give me some more gigantic boss battles. There aren't enough of those this generation, at least not many good ones.

Everything else I would like as well, but I'd be happy with just that mudcrab. They really need to add that in, no matter how silly it may be.

Surprised at how many of those things seem incredibly useful and or doable! Would love some Fallout 3-style ranged combat killcams.

That was so awesome! The music was killer for a start, and funny.

The water flowing stuff was awesome - heck so much of that stuff I wish was actually in game. Gigantic bosses (inc mudcrab) should make multiple showings I think, they're awesome.

Gigantic boss battles is what has me excited for Capcom's open world RPG Dragon's dogma, coming out later this year. I really hope it works out well and that is not saddled with Capcom's habit of releasing a super/ultimate edition 6 months later. My fingers are crossed for the best outcome.

The seasonal foliage and flow-based water shading were really impressive to me, would love to see them. Sadly the first one would probably require seasons in the first place.

Also, spears is what I've always wanted in these games.
