Hey there, i played lots of skyrim on pc last year, now I started a new character on my ps3 yesterday. I'm wondering, have the autosave issues been sorted out? Thanks

i don't remember having any autosave issues with skyrim.... but then again i never really had any of the issues people complained about.

Yeah.. Seems pretty good so far after 12 hours or so..

It would be helpful to know what exactly this autosave issue is.

Why wouldn't you just keep playing on PC?

I would say, it is best to just play on pc. Unless your pc isn't that great. But are you talking about if you put in too many hours into your game, that the framerate starts to drag? I think its usually after like 50 or so hours, the framerate starts to drag. They addressed it kindof. But it certainly isn't 100% fixed.

PS3 version issue where after a number of times the game saves that the save file becomes too big and causes the framerate to drop heavily.

I don't have a PC that can handle it very well or a 360-- I'd like an update on this too.

I'm not expecting a rock solid frame rate, I never did on a game THAT big, but if it no longer plays like a flipbook, I consider it fixed.

It was save file issue, not an autosave one specifically. Your game performance will degrade as your characters save files grows above 10MB. However the depths that it degraded to and the how early it starts has been improved by a large margin.

To smooth out gameplay I turned off autosaving all together; it introduces a hitch while a save is in progress that really bothered me.
