The fifth installment in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls franchise is set in the eponymous province of Skyrim, where the ancient threat of dragons, led by the sinister Alduin, is rising again to threaten all mortal races. Only the player, as the prophesied hero the Dovahkiin, can save the world from destruction.
These pictures use the "realistic lighting without post processing" mod on skyrim nexus. I really recommend it for people with mid or low end pc's like mine. It makes the game look great for almost no performance cost.
Installed a bunch of mods from the Workshop today, one was to add more trees/grass/forest to the game. It definitely did that, check out what Whiterun looks like when you walk through the front gate now.

i've always liked this one. sneaking up from behind while invisible, wearing cicero's clothes, and then appearing as though my bipedal lolcat is sapping maro's soul makes for a neat screenshot.
Mal would rather not talk about that. Dig the earrings, why doesn't Bethesda include earrings and piercings in their games, I mean, Fallout too - get your badlands bandit feather earrings and such.
HD clothes, Static mesh improvement, Lovely Hairstyles short, deep purple eyes. Only thing missing is an update of the "Dwemer Spectacles" Oblivion mod so I can get my glasses back.
All I wanted to do was kill the guy's wife. I'm not sure the weight rating of this balcony can support us all...This ambient comment makes me laugh. If Matrix was here, he'd laugh too.
@TheHT: I'm using ENB mods, but those shots used various ones, I've been trying different configs as there's always something I don't like about them. Ended up using Superb ENB-RL, it looks good and I still get a pretty good framrate. I also use Dynavision for dynamic depth of field, the ENB DoF is a bit too much, Dynavison is more subtle. In the Spriggan shot my mage had one of the light spells cast with the Wamer Magic Lights mod.
@antikorper: I totally did. I went around collecting various human parts, and when I needed to drop weight, I decided to dump all of it and shape it. Unfortunately, I didn't have anything to do with the pile of human flesh in the corner, as you can see.
@Godlyawesomeguy: Nice, I've done the same thing with wine bottles. I have also had collected like 150 goblets and then dropped them all in the middle of Solitude so all the patrolling guards were randomly kicking them and telling me to pick up my rubbish. What is even more hilarious is that the game never really made them disappear so they're still all over Solitude. Will post screen soon.
This is my character after completing Dawnguard: Crossbow on his back, silver sword, Dawnguard anti-vampire axe and an elven dagger. Archery/Light Armor/Sneak, and - oh yeah - he's also a werewolf. No mods installed, just edited a file so that I can equip as many weapons as I want! I like my vampire sidekick, also. Pretty cool companion.
Here's some early game shots. Installed the game yesterday, been fooling around with mods since then. I'm more or less fine with how things look now, even if it gets insanely dark outside during nighttime (I can barely see one feet in front of me, even when using a torch).
@K9: I spent an afternoon installing all the mods that he recommended along with the ENB that was closest to what he used (he uses a modded one) with pretty good results. Here's two average screenshots I got from it. I have better ones but they are on my gaming desktop, but these are the ones I uploaded to Steam so they are all I have access from on this laptop. Even with just the mods he recommended (he uses way more), I had pretty good results. And it runs just as smooth, if not smoother than it used to. These are low-res JPEGs from the Steam Cloud, I'll get some PNGs later when I am on my desktop.
Got an ENB mod. Not on the highest settings because buying a nice graphics card is hard right now with a girlfriend and college, but still looks gorgeous. And I love the FoD with it.
