it would be cool if you could carry on with your saved game in oblivion,so you could be the person you were in oblivion in skyrim...but to bad its 200 years after the time of oblivion

The fifth installment in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls franchise is set in the eponymous province of Skyrim, where the ancient threat of dragons, led by the sinister Alduin, is rising again to threaten all mortal races. Only the player, as the prophesied hero the Dovahkiin, can save the world from destruction.
So marriage is confirmed.
Could be cool. As long as there is more depth than there was in the Fable 2 for marriages I'm in. :D
Children are also confirmed so will we be seeing Khajiit kittens as a result from your union or will we see scary nord/dragon hybrid children 0_ohuuh children? Sauce!!! if it's true it's will be awesome!
Honestly rather they didn't include them as you won't be able to kill them so wiping out towns will result in children running round in circles looking scared. *Sigh*
Hopefully better than Fallout 3.
Do does this mean you can have kids? Will you be able to "build" and stock a house? SO MANY QUESTIONS!Only interested because this implies an attempt at building some form of meaningful relationship with a character(s), something I think past elder scrolls games don't do very well. Morrowind and Oblvion felt like you were talking to walking/talking quest posts. They definitely need to do more than what was done in Fable II however, otherwise it'll just be bleh.
Yea....Bethesda has always fallen into a niche in what they do, and what works for them. Im interested in them actually trying to expand their horizons, but character interaction has always been one of their weak points. Hope it works, because I am very interested in the economy deal as well.
Maybe one of the dragon shouts will turn you into a dragon, I will reign fire down upon all woodsmiths! Only the rich will be able to afford wood! As it should be!!!
Chances are there'll eventually be mods to remove children. Or maybe Bethesda will be smart and in the event of a town massacre the children will dissapear gradually.@DokiDokiBawanga: Yeah it was confirmed a while ago but here is some sauce as you doubt me. http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1212929-moderator-topic-children-in-skyrim/ Honestly rather they didn't include them as you won't be able to kill them so wiping out towns will result in children running round in circles looking scared. *Sigh* Hopefully better than Fallout 3.

More accurately, there'll be mods to make children kill-able.

I want to marry a dragon.
I don't want to marry a dragon. I want to stay single and fuck as many dragon ladies as I please. Marriage is for suckers.
I'm sure this is largely for roleplaying reasons, but I could only justify something like this if there is some tangible benefit or has some influence on reactions from NPCs in a town. If it's like the maid in the Skingrad player-house that's essentially a pie and drink dispenser, I can do without.
Can I marry a mage and a knight and have them meet each other and have them fight for who stays as my wife?

Somewhat unrelated but this is why I love to get this on PC. Mods like this make my day.
That was incredible. I wonder how long it takes to make a mod like that. I can tell a lot was already in the game, but there was a few new animations and obviously tweaked attributes on items and spells.
If you can also have kids marrage would be pretty sweet. I loved seeing my kids run around in Fable II.
