Not enough info to feel hype given the turd that was Oblivion.

Uh, B, I suppose. The new info was nice, but, in truth, I'm just ready for a new Elder Scrolls game; I'm not a huge fan of the Fallout universe.

B. Yes. I feel the hype. But I've been burned on video game hype a few times too many for me to be unequivocally pumped on anything, even something I'm anticipating as much as this game.  In the end, it's still going to be an open world RPG and have the same qualities and drawbacks that those kinds of games entail. Waiting for some gameplay footage to see how the new stuff works.

10. But I'm pretty much a massive Oblivion fanboy so anything that claims to be a follow up to that game is immediately going to get me excited.

I am excited as fuck. Oblivion is my favorite game of all time and I can't wait for more of the same, and better! I should go back and become the duke of mania so I can get my S rank...

B: I feel the hype and am definitely looking forward to it. But I don't think even gameplay trailers will do anything to validate some of Bethesda's claims, they lied through their teeth when it came to Oblivion.

 I am very excited after reading the new Skyrim details!

To be honest even if this shit was on the same Gamebryo engine, with the same combat and everything as Oblvion, I would still be at like a nine.
 
These new scans and info just elevate into that pants-changing echelon.

Can't get too hyped this early, but I very much liked what I read, though it'll most inevitably get pushed into 2012, which is too damn long from now....

The Elder Scrolls is a franchise I love to love (Morrowind) or love to hate (Oblivion), so I'll probably end up buying it regardless.

It looks like they're still drinking what they were when they made Oblivion, but we'll wait and see.

D. I wanted to enjoy Elder Scrolls IV but I didn't and I'm not really hyped for V.

I'm not sure what to think.

I'll go with B it looks good but I want to see it in action before I get really excited so that will probably be at GDC or E3.

D. It sounds too much like what was promised in Oblivion.

Too many people are forgetting or discounting how much of a technical leap Oblivion was over Morrowind (Yes, I like Morrowind's story and game world better, too, but from a technical standpoint Oblivion was largely a better game.). If we see that much of a leap from Oblivion to Skyrim, I don't think there's much to poo-poo at right now. People only really started shitting on Bethesda for glitching issues post-Fallout. I never encountered that many in Oblivion.

I'm really excited about Skyrim. And given my distaste for Oblivion that says a lot. 

There is no such thing as getting hype for a game that isn't street fighter...

GI issue didn't really do anything for me. Still waiting for more info.

Good story, but I'm not going to drool until I see gameplay video and find out how leveling and combat work in detail.

As long as the leveling problem isnt present,i really couldnt care WHAT bethesda does, of course its an entirely different matter with Fallout, but when it comes to Elder Scrolls i will never question Bethesda :)
