Vinny Caravella needs to watch this.

Thought this was perfect as Vinny has a Hoarding problem on Skyrim and the recent talk of Hoarders on the Bombcast.

They especially have some good lines from the Lydia character.

I dug it, quite funny.

I used to be an adventurer like you but then...

massive sighs!

that part was great

Well done

#5 Posted by Deusx (1910 posts) -

Hey that was pretty good.

#6 Posted by N7 (3658 posts) -

That was awesome.

#7 Posted by Claude (16254 posts) -

That was killer.

#8 Posted by WilltheMagicAsian (1547 posts) -

I was totally ready to hate this because of it's college humor origin, but it wasn't half bad.

#9 Posted by Vinny_Says (5721 posts) -

"I'm in 3rd person mode!!"

This was pretty funny.

#10 Posted by azrailx (449 posts) -

well done

I was totally ready to flag this thinking it was just another terrible video spam. That was great. Glad to see it was written by people who had clearly played the game for probably a long time.

#12 Posted by Klaimore (948 posts) -

That was great but where are the cheese wheels? WHERE!?

#13 Posted by me3639 (1837 posts) -

"'I've got to hold on to this just in case i find it for that spell". That's me, totally.

#14 Posted by the_OFFICIAL_jAPanese_teaBAG (4308 posts) -

Ive been watching a lot of crappy reality show type things on TLC and Discovery lately so I thought this was pretty funny

#15 Posted by RandomInternetUser (6789 posts) -

That was great, I can completely relate to the dragon bone part, heh. I never wanted to drop those even though I had not done any blacksmithing and had not worn any heavy armor.

#16 Posted by Sayishere (1840 posts) -

I want to play skyrim again now...

#17 Posted by FordFairlane (99 posts) -

I made a promise to myself that'd I'd try to be a real thief in Skyrim and not convince myself I could sneak around with an Ebony warhammer in my pack. Gold, jewels, potions, and scrolls are all I steal. Easy to carry, easy to fence. Takes a lot longer to make money, but it's more satisfying.

#18 Posted by BraveToaster (12588 posts) -

I wish the video was longer.

#19 Posted by Daiphyer (1351 posts) -

That was great.

#20 Posted by golguin (4015 posts) -

That was pretty good. I hoarded a lot of stuff in the beginning thinking I'd need it for something later until I realized I didn't. Then I sold it all off. I did have the majority of the books and I read most of them.

#21 Posted by redbliss (648 posts) -

That was pretty well made. Got a kick out of the burden part.

#22 Posted by ShadowConqueror (3084 posts) -

I'M A FUCKING THANE OF WHITERUN!

#23 Posted by Winternet (8035 posts) -

And then there was an ad for the smart cock.

Haha glad to see people enjoying the video too

#25 Posted by Marz (5668 posts) -

yup, tickled me funny bone.

#26 Posted by Azteck (7449 posts) -

The "EXCUSE ME I'M A FUCKING THANE OF WHITERUN ARRRRGGGHH" cracked me up. Good stuff, that was.

#27 Posted by Ravenlight (8040 posts) -

Skyrim is the game that broke me of my virtual hoarding problem. Fuck those cheese wheels, who's going around eating a chunk out of all of them?

#28 Posted by Mowgers (388 posts) -

That was actually pretty funny. Huh.

#29 Posted by selbie (1962 posts) -

They must have missed the mountain of cheese wheels out the back.

#30 Posted by Kedi2 (255 posts) -

That was really good lol.

#31 Posted by AdzPearson (202 posts) -

I enjoyed that. XD I thought it was really well-made. Nice chunk of references from the game, too.

...that said, that game is pretty much a hoarder's paradise. If bottomless chests existed in real-life, hoarding would definitely be less of an issue. I imagine it would be a pain to retrieve things, though.

But ... the dragon bones weigh a lot, and you get 3 of them for every dragon you kill, and you get attacked by dragons every 3 minutes, how many do you need to make that armor? I sell them all the first chance I get, as they are a lot easier to find than just about every other thing in the game, except perhaps salt.

Talking about refrigerating clam meat...

I MIGHT NEED THEM FOR ARMOR, OK?!

I did come to my senses though about 15 hours into the game when I realized "Fuck, Dragons are everywhere..."

Ohhhhhhh it's funny because it's true.

I haven't played Skyrim but I totally saw myself in other games doing exactly these things. "I might need this later" ... "but I could sell this for XX" ... "I don't know of that weapon might be something I'd try out later" ... "Need mOAR ingredients!"

:D

haha! That was actually done well and funny. I go through the same process thinking when collecting items in Fallout.
