The fifth installment in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls franchise is set in the eponymous province of Skyrim, where the ancient threat of dragons, led by the sinister Alduin, is rising again to threaten all mortal races. Only the player, as the prophesied hero the Dovahkiin, can save the world from destruction.
Dawnguard cause fuck vampires. Even my chaotic evil assassin hates vampires. Actually.. she hates everyone (except Lydia, cause no one hates Lydia), so that kinda goes without saying, I suppose.
Went with the vampires. Just cause I dig vampires and found them a tad underwhelming in the base game. I feel like the expansion did a pretty good job of making them a more appealing option. I'll probably make a second character to do the Dawnguard stuff soon enough.
Dawngaurd, because fuck vampires. I'll being doing a separate save thing to get the vampire achievement but I won't be replaying the quest on the opposite side because, again, fuck vampires.
Went with the vampires and fuck that. Their questline didn't have the resolution I expected, and the vampire lord still needs too much babying to keep up you're strength. I don't want to have too feed every in-game day and being weaker in daylight is dumb when the game presents the ultimate way to get around that then doesn't do it. Once I get back in the mood for more skyrim I'm going to load my back up save and redo it as dawnguard. Though might make a new file to do so since everything Dawnguard adds is not suited for high level characters, its all useless.
