It seems that more and more game journalists are getting their hands on retail copies of Skyrim these past days. They talked about it yesterday during the Breaking Brad feature, Kevin VanOrd tweeted yesterday about having a copy, Major Nelson did the same, and so on.

It's more or less 2 weeks until the game is released to us peasants, but when do you think we'll see reviews popping up? Did Bethesda send out copies this early so that reviewers could play a good chunk of the game and we won't actually see any reviews until the 11th? Or do you think it's the case of Uncharted 3, with reviews being published long before the actual release?

I normally don't give two shits about review scores, and I already have my copy pre-ordered since last December. But reading a well-put review with maybe some inside info (game length, world size, possible bugs, etc) is really making me wish we'll see reviews as soon as possible. Have anyone heard anything about an embargo or such?

I'd hope it's so the reviewers can see a chunk of the game, rather than the main quest and a few side missions. So a week or so, would be coo'. 
 
Shit's already bought on Steam. It could be more casual than Oblivion and I still wouldn't care, just want to explore.

I imagine the weekend before the game is released, the journalists already got their copy.

I know! I even looked at Brad's and Jeff's XBL profiles just now, and both of them have played the game.

I wonder if embargoes include talking about embargoes. Or hinting. Would be nice to at least know what's going on at some level.
 
I'll be paying special attention to the PC version and any bugs that might be riding in on it.

@yoshimitz707: Could be the Giant Bomb's tracker (that isn't exactly the best there is on the web) haven't updated their games played yet. I know that the Xbox website updates the same second you do something on your console.

@Pr1mus: Ack, another 2 weeks of waiting then. Hopefully they can talk about it on the Bombcast at least.
