You remember the Adoring fan right? He was that very annoying guy who would follow you around and even when killed he would re spawn in a few days. Do you think he will be back?
I'm hoping he does so at long last I can get that back rub.
Game » consists of 30 releases. Released Nov 11, 2011

No, the Champion thoughtfully left him inside an Oblivion gate before finishing the main quest, thus saving the Tamriel from the one thing worse than Mehrunes Dagon.
Why didn't I think of it!
Considering it takes place 200 years or so after Oblivion, unlikely. Though perhaps an equally annoying descendant? Then again, knowing Bethesda, they'll probably include a skeleton that has his haircut and a note referencing one of his lines that led to his death. Or perhaps a grave marker with his name on it. Something to signify the hatred he met from the fanbase.
I'm sure some analogue of him will be put in the game in some fashion. Even Fallout 3 had one, voiced by the same VA. Hopefully Skyrim's version will have the same VA, as well.
I didn't get super deep into Oblivion, but Morrowind I spent a great deal of time in. Perhaps Skyrim will have some nice Easter Eggs, like the Super Fan. The character makes a specidific appearence in Oblivion?
@Aishan: Yeah, as a user said, he comes back. Which essentially made the game into a horror game for me at one point.
I had left him in an Oblivion gate, closed it, and thought he was gone. Several in-game days later I was sneaking through a bandit infested cave. I opened a door to get further in, and there he was, with his torch out. The bandits inside saw me because of the torch, and all hell broke lose. I am easily startled, so I had to quit playing for a while after that.
So yeah, I am sure he will be there, watching from the shadows.
There will probably be an annoying Wood Elf that everyone hates. The adoring fan was a deliberate version of the accident that was Fargoth in Morrowind. I'd be surprised if they didn't make another run at it.

That would have scarred me for life. I just made the easy decision of leaving him in front of the arena and decided to never return to that location after I was done with the Arena quests.
I figured introducing him to other habitats would prove dangerous.

I'd love if he was a Dragon call summon that just spoke to dudes and they died.

The Adoring Fan? Ah yes, that guy I told to stand still in a vampire den and never saw again.
That just means he's hunting you now. Waiting for that perfect time to strike.
I know this won't be in tes V, but i think it would be interesting/funny if there was some mention of him as a founder of a small cult whose members don the adoring fans yellow hershey's kiss haircut that worship the arena champion as some sort of immortal savior that will come back to the one who adores him enough as prophesied by the adoring fan.
If he does come back, he should be the only character still rocking the old Oblivion face model, just for that extra freakish effect.

Bethesda, combine these two ideas and I'll buy two copies of your game.
