Thought it would be interesting to see how many people would buy it.

idk ... that thing is really big. I'm all for nerdy stuff but I'd probably rather get one of the TF2 statues they made a while ago (but those were damn expensive)

Hell no.

Yes, two of them then make them fight one another wile I sit down and put my feet on the back of a little person and sip on a fruity drink all wile I stroke my white furred kitty.

It's not that I'm against spending money on stupid nerdy stuff, it's just that I rather spend money on different stupid nerdy stuff.

No, I got to a point in my life where I wanted to get rid of plastic desktop tchotckes, and now I won't have any more, even if they're pretty fly.

By those guidelines, would I buy (or accept as a gift) a giant standee? Nope.avi

Just gotta say, the see results option, genius. That should be in every poll really....

And no, i wouldn't buy it, but i'd totally buy one of the Blizzard statues.

Where's the "No, because where the fuck am I going to put a statue?" option?

I don't think it's a waste of money (I've wasted it on worse), just that I can't think of a single place where it would either fit or not look totally fucking weird.

#10 Posted by XenoNick (1366 posts) -

No because 1) It's a fucking waste of money. 2) I have no where to put a massive fucking statue.

#11 Posted by animathias (1076 posts) -

Maybe. If money and space weren't an issue, I absolutely would. It wouldn't be the smartest purchase in my life, but probably not the stupidest either.

#12 Posted by mylifeforAiur (3479 posts) -

Absolutely not... Well, maybe if I had a lot of discretionary income. A whole lot.

No. I prefer smaller figurines that blend with my room.

#15 Posted by Vexxan (4598 posts) -

Ain't got room for such things.

#16 Posted by Mariek430 (406 posts) -

Sadly yes, if only to put in front of doors to scare the shit out of people with.

#17 Posted by Otacon (2193 posts) -

Wouldn't know where to put it, but I'd have a hard time saying no if it was offered to me.

#18 Posted by alexl86 (619 posts) -

No, I wouldn't even accept it as a gift. I'd rather have that Alduin statuette from the Collector's Edition. Of course, I'd rather have $100 than the Alduin statuette, which is why I got the regular edition...

If I had the money...Maybe.

#20 Posted by kingzetta (4307 posts) -

maybe if it was painted well

#21 Posted by OldGuy (1431 posts) -

Maybe... but I really want the Brotherhood of Steel one that's been in the Best Buy in Rockville (about 8 miles south of Bethesda's office) since Fallout 3 came out...

#22 Posted by ExplodeMode (852 posts) -

I try not to collect bullshit. Also he's a human. Argonian forever.

#23 Posted by Bones8677 (3168 posts) -

maybe if it was colored and not matte black.

#24 Posted by BonOrbitz (2089 posts) -

I say no because it's not painted and the pose and character design is uninspiring.

I'm past the desktop stuff, but something that dominates the room is a must-have.

#26 Posted by RuneseekerMireille (316 posts) -

Nah, I don't have anywhere to put it.

#27 Posted by OldGuy (1431 posts) -

Well... I just listened to the latest episode of The Jeff Gerstmann Experienceand he mentions the Statue. Says he thought they'd (the Gamespot office) already have one (Ryan agrees that it's surprising that they don't)... But, because of the bad connection, the important part isn't there! Did they take it or not? Ah!

#28 Posted by lord_canti (1485 posts) -

did they bring it to there new office?

#29 Posted by ArcadiaExeter (76 posts) -

I am actively searching for one of these statues. if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know.

#30 Posted by Hizang (8534 posts) -

I saw one of those on eBay for £600, but it said pickup only (duh).

#31 Posted by Dany (7886 posts) -

Where would I put it?

#32 Posted by RandomInternetUser (6788 posts) -

No.

...If it was painted well, maybe.

#33 Posted by InternetCrab (1504 posts) -

No, how boring and a waste.

#34 Posted by RyuHayabusa (23 posts) -

no

#35 Posted by 49th (2538 posts) -

It would be fun to paint one but I wouldn't pay for it myself.
